Things I’ve been lusting after in October

The lust list for October…

So it’s probably been about a month since I did September’s Wish List, so I’ve decided it’s probably about time to write one up for October. This month includes more clothes than anything else seeing as we’re getting in to those colder days now, warm and cosy clothing is just what is needed! I’m loving all the really dark but bold colours that are currently prominent in the A/W 2015 season.

Amazon Multi-frame – I’m one of these people that loves to have lots of photographs around to remind me of fond memories of friends and family. When I move house, I want to have a frame of photos from uni and after having a browse on Amazon found some frames like these. This is around £11.95, so not particularly expensive when you are storing 12 photos in the frame. You can get slightly nicer ones but it just depends how much you feel you can afford on a frame.

Rimmel Waterproof Eyeliner – This is a product I’ve used for years and an absolute must have in my make up bag. I always find any other brand doesn’t last all day or fades to a greyish colour and smudges. However, I find this eyeliner lasts for hours, especially when worn with a little primer! It has been my go to eyeliner since I was at college where it would last all day, I can wear it on a night out and it stays in place until the next morning if I forget to take my make up off or am out until the crack of dawn! It also lasts all day when I’m at work. Not only this but it is most definitely affordable if you are on a tight budget and usually lasts me a good 3-6 months and I wear it pretty much every day! At only £5.29, you really can’t go wrong! Despite it saying it’s “waterproof”, it is incredibly easy to wipe off with a make up wipe.

New Look Cardigan – As my office is so cold at work, I’ve been looking at potential warmer clothing to buy and saw this cardigan on New Look’s A/W collection. It looks so snug and that it would definitely keep you feeling warm and cosy on those freezing cold, forth coming winter days.

Tesco Tights – These are just basic black tights and nothing special. The reason I’ve included them in this Wish List is due to the fact I own about thirty pairs of tights but only have about three pairs that don’t have a hole in somewhere! I can’t really complain much when most of them are Primark tights I’ve had for about two or three years but it can be somewhat frustrating trying to hunt down a pair that look acceptable for work every morning. Personally, I always feel that Tesco tights are the best quality and for a pack of three for £4 it’s not exactly breaking the bank balance.

New Look Suede Skirt – As I’ve mentioned above, I’m absolutely loving all the browns that are currently trending in this season’s fashion. I’ve been keeping my eye on purchasing a suede style skirt that I can wear with my suede style boots from a few years ago and this skirt looks perfect for that! I also really liked the knot at the front as it’s a bit of a unique style.

Lana Del Rey Honeymoon album – If you know me, you know I’m a massive Lana Del Rey fan. I love her style and her voice and her music in general. However, this album I’m a little unsure as to how much I like it compared to her last album Ultraviolence. Although, I do absolutely adore her voice on Terence Loves You. I saw her live at Glastonbury 2014 and her voice is absolutely beautiful live too! It is still an album I want to purchase.

The Libertines Anthems for Doomed Youth album – I’ve loved the Libertines since they were around the first time and was excited to hear that they had gotten back together. Songs such as Gunga Din I first heard at Glastonbury this year, when they performed last minute to fill in for the Foo Fighters, and thought it sounded really good then. It’s definitely fantastic to see Carl and Pete performing together at their best.

New Look Sunglasses – I know summer is most definitely well and truly over but I saw these in the sale on New Look’s website and thought that they were really pretty. Considering they are only about £2, I thought they would be a great purchase for those sunny, winter days and if not, a pair ready for next summer.
