I know it is generally advised to wear a serum beneath a moisturiser but unfortunately with my general oily/combination skin, I would find I’d either suffer from a break out or my skin would become massively shiny in a short space of time. However, a year or so ago I started switching to serums to wear instead of moisturisers as I had heard so many good reviews and thought I may as well give them a try.
As a brand for moisturiser, I really like Superdrug. They are reasonably priced and do not cause break outs on my skin like more expensive brands do such as Olay and Nivea. I picked up this one and thought I would give it a go, especially considering it’s a 2 in 1 serum/moisturiser.
An advantage the bottle has is a squirt pump so there is no waste! I usually tend to find 2 to 3 pumps works well for me to cover my whole face and neck. It makes my skin feel really soft and smooth and doesn’t cause break outs or really oily skin. In fact, I find it helps hold my make up in place for longer due to not creating my face to become so oily so quickly which is a bonus! Overall, it’s a WinWin situation all round for me!
You can pick this up for £5.99 in Superdrug. They quite often do deals so you may even be lucky and be able to get it cheaper.
