As The Christmas Tag has been doing the rounds recently, I thought I would write a post including my answers for it.
I’ve seen this Christmas Tag going round on a few blogs and considering I’ve not really done many Christmassy posts, I thought I would do this one! 🙂
1) What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
Probably Jack Frost as I loved that film as a child.
2) Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
On Christmas morning.
3) Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I’m not sure really, I enjoy Christmas as I get to spend time with my family and enjoy relaxing with lots of nice new gifts, along with nice food and wine.
4) Favourite festive food?
Hmm… I would say roast potatoes but I’m not sure they really count as a “festive food”. I’m probably going to have to say the sprout mix mousse my Gran makes (yes, I’m weird and like sprouts) or having a savoury roulade with our roast dinner (we’re a household of vegetarians).
5) Favourite Christmas gift?
I don’t think I really have one as I always get bought things I wanted or something people know I will enjoy. 🙂
6) Favourite Christmas scent?
Do Christmas scented candles count? The smell of a real Christmas Tree also smells festive and all the lovely food you only bake at this time of year.
7) Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Not really, we sometimes watch Christmas films and prepare food or go to the pub to see friends for a quiet drink. That’s probably about it but I don’t think it’s tradition.
8) What tops your tree?
At our house a star but at my Mum’s I think it’s usually an angel but it’s hard to tell when I haven’t been back since November.
9) As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
Probably something like those electrical cars for kids. Something I always wanted but never got as I think my family thought it was a lot of money for something we’d grow out of quickly which I can understand now I’m an adult haha!
10) What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
It gives you something to look forward to in the winter and brightens up the dark nights, everywhere looks so pretty and it’s a time you get to spend with friends and family.
