Here’s a few things that I’m adding to my Christmas Wishlist…
Although it’s probably pushing it to purchase most of these things before Christmas now, I thought I would write a Wishlist of things that I would like to buy in the Christmas sales (unless any of these have been bought for me already of course!).
This isn’t the newest model but still a relatively up to date version only having been released last year. For the price (approximately £100 depending upon where you look), it looks like you get a pretty decent camera. Although I have an dSLR and as much as I still love it, it’s pretty old now and I can’t find the charger. It is also pretty large and bulky to carry round. Considering this camera has wi-fi options and a flip screen, I think that this would be a good investment for blogging and for my life in general.
Benefit Easy on the Eyes Book:
I’ve had my eye on this for a while. Eyeshadow and lipstick is something I’ve only worn for the last couple of years and I would love to learn how to apply them properly. I also want to learn how to contour as again, blusher and highlighter is another thing I’ve only started wearing in the last couple of years. Before this, I just used to stick to foundation, eyeliner and mascara!
Although I have a tripod, it’s pretty flimsy and not particularly sturdy. Another thing I want to invest in to take better photos and branch more in to doing OOTD posts. As you may have seen from my previous posts, it’s a little bit hard to do this currently and unfortunately the photos don’t particularly come out great. This is currently £11.99 on Amazon.
DIY Fashion Shoot Book:
I have mentioned this in a previous Wish List but I still don’t have it so it’s another thing I’m hoping to buy after Christmas.
If you know me, you’ll know I try and go to the gym fairly regularly. I’ve been wanting a 2 in 1 exercise bike/cross trainer for a while and Greg bought me one for Christmas. Seeing as I use a kettle bell at the gym, I thought it would be a great idea to invest in one to create my own “home gym”. This currently costs £12 in Tesco.
Likewise with the kettle bell, I use weights at the gym so thought I would invest in my own. Although we’re planning on a couple of years away, I want to tone up and slim down for our wedding. 2016 is going to be a year of doing this. So probably expect fitness and weight loss posts! You can buy this set for £20 from Tesco.
Urban Decay Naked Smokey Eyeshadow Palette:
I bought some Urban Decay products a couple of months ago and loved them. I’ve heard so many good things about the Urban Decay eyeshadow palette and really want to try it! This Smokey Eye palette is a new release for Urban Decay and considering I like to have prominent make up on my eyes, it seems like a good palette choice to buy. You can but it for £38 from Debenhams or the Urban Decay website.
Heyland & Whittle Clementine & Prosecco Candle:
I saw this in the Christmas Market the other week and it smells lovely! This could be due to the fact that Prosecco is probably my favourite alcoholic drink but we’ll ignore that. I’m kind of addicted to scented candles so when I have some more money this is definitely being purchased to make our house smell lovely. You can buy this candle in the Winchester Christmas Market or online for £22. They also do smaller, cheaper ones.
