Benefit Erase Paste Review

I really like Benefit make up and the Erase Paste did not disappoint!

I purchased this through Birchbox with my points so what should have been £22.50, I got for about £2.50 as you can only spend £10 at a time with your Birchbox points. I didn’t even have to pay postage and packaging so I was pretty happy with that price! So if you buy Birchbox, make sure you review your box and collect the points every month.

It only comes in a small pot but a little goes a long way! The box included a tiny spatula to scoop it out with so it means no getting it gunked on your fingers. I just give the spatula a wipe after every use to prevent germs.

I’ve found the best way to apply is just after you’ve put your foundation on as it sets better and hides the bags under your eyes easier. You can put it on before your foundation but I find it doesn’t appear to be as effective as it’s probably got smudged around your face with your foundation.

The only issue I have with it is that although I got the “light” version, Benefit’s make up is a little too dark for pale skin and it’s probably slightly darker than my actual foundation. I know Benefit make up was created in San Francisco so everyone there probably has more of a sun kissed glow than us pale English rose gals but I do wish their foundations were a little lighter. One time I went to a Benefit make up counter to get make up makeover, I was told I was “too pale” for the foundation, haha.

Overall, I think Erase Paste works pretty well at hiding the huge bags under my eyes. It obviously can’t completely get ride of them but it makes my eyes look brighter and zombie, sunken in like. I would definitely repurchase this or recommend buying!
