Seeing as it’s Glastonbury Festival this week, I thought I would keep up the theme of festival related posts, today is an outfit which I’ve worn to Boomtown before. These are actually quite old clothes that I don’t remember acquiring but simply just threw together and thought, “Hey! This would look great at a festival!” The shorts are probably one of my eldest pieces of clothing that I still regularly wear; originally a pair of jeans from New Look back in 2006 when I was 14! I stopped wearing them as jeans probably a good 6 or 7 years ago and when clearing my wardrobe out one day thought, “I know, I’ll make these in to shorts!” All I did was just cut the ends off to how short I wanted them; they aren’t the straightest cut but I don’t think that really matters with shorts and I love the shabby chic look.

I cannot remember for the life of me where I got this top from, and it doesn’t have a label inside of it, but I know it’s been in my wardrobe for a good few years. I have another top similar to this which I picked up in a charity shop for about £3, you can find some great festival clothing bargains! Boohoo and Primark are great for this kind of thing. Taking shorts to a festival with you is great because if it’s cold you can pop tights/leggings on underneath and if it’s hot then you can take the tights off (obviously do this in your tent unless you wanna flash your undies at everyone! Haha). The jacket is from TK Maxx that I picked up in a sale a couple of years ago; tassles don’t seem to be going out of fashion just yet and are great to add to the boho look. The flowers are a headband I just added on to the hat which I picked up cheaply and are a great and necessary accessory for festival fashion.
