I don’t really do that many fashion posts as I find it awkward trying to time selfies on my camera with a timer but as it was a lovely day a couple of weekends ago, Greg and I took and opportunity here to go for a walk and take some nice outfit photos. Plus these are new clothes after all and who doesn’t want to show those off!? :p

We tried to go to Victoria Park in Southampton but as it was such a lovely day everyone had the same idea! Instead, we decided to go to Itchen Valley Park which is located not too far from Southampton airport and is the home of Go Ape.

Apart from the hat, I had recently picked this outfit up in the summer sales. While having a browse in New Look after work, I found this top and seeing as I love the colour orange and this top was in the sale I couldn’t help not snap up a bargain! The same goes for the shorts and Boots I’m wearing. I was just having a browse on the Missguided website as I had never bought anything from them before and these were both in the sale, I thought I would give Missguided clothes a try. I can honestly say that I am not disappointed with the quality! I’ve worn the boots all day round London and they are so comfy. I’m usually a size 5.5 in shoes so usually buy a 6 as a 5 is usually that bit too small. I bought these in a 6 but they must be a relatively small 6 as they fit me perfectly. I bought the shorts in a size 10 and they are a little loose which is absolutely fine as when it comes to denim shorts, I tend to like them a bit loose. I had been wanting a new pair for ages but they are quite expensive so when I saw these I just simple couldn’t help myself.

Seeing as they were the clothes were quite frilly and floaty, I thought that they would go paired well with my boots and this old Cowboy hat that I think was originally my Grandpa’s. The shoes have a bit of a cowboy style to them and considering how lovely the day was, a hat was a necessity. It gave an overall cowboy look but still very summery and in keeping with the current sunny weather I also thought I would curl my hair just to make it look nice for once as I never usually bother.
