So you may or may not have heard of multi-masking which has become a fairly big thing over the last couple of years and until recently, I hadn’t actually tried this myself. Although I don’t really talk about face masks, here on the blog, I’m actually a big fan of them and see them as one definite beauty essential any girl should have. I try to use one at least once a week as I feel my skin is so much better for it.
When I attended the Bloggers Festival back in September, I was given a multi-masking face pack by 7th Heaven. This entails a box of six various different masks from their range. Instead of using just one face mask to combat certain parts of your skin’s problem areas several of these masks will be used to aim at different problem areas of the face.
This is where the beauty of multi-masking comes in. If you look at the box’s packaging, it informs of you of which two masks target specific problem areas on your face. Some of these are peel offs which in some respects are easier to use than clay masques as you don’t have to scrub your face in order to take it off! In order to carry out multi-masking, instructions recommend only using three masks therefore giving you enough masks to do this twice but it is completely up to you how many you use at once. I have to agree that two or three are the right amount to use at any one given time as anymore than three is quite frankly unnecessary and a waste of a damn good face mask!
Here, you can see from the photos, me giving multi-masking a go with a bit of a nautical theme (and I’m clearly a pro at applying them! :p). I’m using the Dead Sea peel mask on my t-zone, nose and chin area and the Black Seaweed peel on my cheeks. The exciting thing about this is… I have four of these to give away to four lucky winners*!
