I found one of the Tanya Burr nail polishes for 99p in Superdrug recently and snapped up the chance to buy it. Here’s what I thought of it…
I own a couple of the Tanya Burr palettes and have been really impressed for what I would consider a drugstore brand. When I popped into my local Superdrug store, I noticed that a couple of nail polishes in Tanya’s ranged were priced at 99p. I’m going to assume this was a misprint as I haven’t seen it for this price in any other stores or online.
The colour (as seen above) is called Little Duck and is a gorgeous turquoise kind of colour. Although I would consider this more of a summery colour, I wasn’t going to be complaining seeing as I basically got it for a fifth of the price. From previous experience with Tanya’s brow/eye palettes, I had high hopes for the nail polish and I wasn’t proved wrong. The polish glides on nicely and not in a big gloopy, runny mess, it also dries within seconds! In my opinion, this is always a good thing as I am awful for remembering my nails are still drying, start doing something and then find they get ruined due to being scuffed or imprinted by whatever has touched them. This didn’t happen at all with this nail polish.
Not only is the colour beautiful but every single product’s packaging is also quite simply beautiful.
The only downside is that it doesn’t have as long wear in comparison to my OPI or Rimmel Long Lasting polish but seeing as they initially only cost £4.99, you can’t really go wrong. There is a whole host of colours in the Tanya Burr range so even if this shade isn’t your colour, you should be able to find something. With the quality of the products Tanya’s bringing out in her beauty range, I cannot wait to try more!
