The Coca-Cola Truck came to Southampton and seeing as we were there, we went to see it again. Holidays are coming and it’s officially Christmas with the Coca-Cola truck…
… Well technically not for another 25 days but it doesn’t count as “officially Christmas” until you have seen the John Lewis and Coco-Cola adverts. Unfortunately, I don’t have live television so the closest I’m getting is seeing the actual Coco-cola truck in Southampton, so last night I did exactly that.
This year, I’m going to attempt to do Blogmas so thought I would start it off with this post. As you may or may not know, every November/December time, the Coca-Cola truck (I’m not sure if it’s the same one) visits a number of cities across the UK. Last night it visited Southampton and seeing as I had to drop my car off at the garage, I thought I would go and see it. Last year, the truck paid a visit to Winchester, so Greg and I went to see it on our walk home from work – you can read the post here.
The truck was parked opposite the Guildhall. It was so packed and cold! There was a massive queue of people lining up just to get a photo next to the truck, hats off to them for braving the cold as being a person that gets cold incredibly easily I just wouldn’t have been able to stay outside that long. I took a few photos then decided to head back to West Quay Shopping Centre.
Although I did decide to have a browse of the Christmas Market beforehand as it’s just outside West Quay. I’m quite impressed with what it has to offer as there are plenty of potential gifts for Christmas on offer. Greg and I bought a couple of things for family and it wasn’t particularly expensive either.
Have you visited the Coco-cola truck or any Christmas Markets?
