I’ve been eyeing up the Lindy Bop website for a while and finally took the plunge and purchased this beautiful Audrey Hepburn inspired vintage style dress…

Being a fan of vintage style clothing, I had been eyeing up the Lindy Bop website for a while. After having heard so many good things from different people and while having a browse just before Christmas, I decided to take the plunge and buy this beautiful, deep purple dress.
As likewise with most online clothing stores, you can never be sure of sizing and being an awkward in-between size of an 8/10 I decided to play it safe by going with a size 10. The dress arrived within a couple of days and was actually a bit big on me. I probably would have fitted better into an 8 but I decided to keep it anyway seeing as it was so close to Christmas, I couldn’t be bothered with the faff of sending it back.
The actual dress itself feels like it’s been made with good quality material and is made in a similar style and quality of how vintage dresses were made. The skirt part of the dress is made in a pleated style giving it that 1950s Audrey Hepburn feel to it. Being a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn and her style as well as 1950s fashion, I’m sure you can imagine that I love this style.
Here, I’ve styled it with some silver, chunky, mid heel shoes and a little white cardigan. I thought that I would style it with some simple, neutral colours so that they compliment the dress and make it very much the focus of my outfit.
Sadly this very dress isn’t available on the website anymore but you can get the same style dress in different colours like this gorgeous pinky rose colour.
